GRASSROOTS football will not go ahead in the city this weekend, Bradford Council has confirmed.
This is because wet conditions have battered the region in recent days making the pitches unplayable.

Surprisingly, given it is November, this is the first time fixtures will have to be postponed this season due to the weather.
The Council hope games can be played next weekend when the weather is hopefully better.
A Council spokesperson said: "Unfortunately due to the already wet and heavy conditions on our grass sports pitches and with further rain forecast, the decision has had to be made to close them this weekend (November 19 and 20).
"It is the first time this season and we hope fixtures will be back to normal next weekend."
