TJ Moncur reckons City's army of fans are "a blessing".
The rookie centre half cannot wait to experience his first bumper Valley Parade crowd tomorrow night when he deputises once more for the injured Matt Clarke.
Moncur, on loan from Fulham, made his senior debut at Notts County and was blown away by the level of backing from the away supporters.
"The Bradford fans have been unbelievable," he said.
"When you get numbers like that it gives you that extra incentive to perform.
"It's a real blessing for the club to have support like that and I hope we can reward them by getting another win against Rotherham."
The 20-year-old made his mark at Meadow Lane by laying on Peter Thorne's equaliser with a perfectly-weighted long ball just three minutes after his mistake led to County's opener.
"I should have cleared the ball for the first goal but luckily I was able to make amends straight away with the assist.
"As soon as they scored, they just sat off. I couldn't believe how much room I was given to go forward and look for the pass.
"If it was 0-0 I don't think they'd have given me that time and space but I'm pleased they did. Thorney made a nice decisive movement which made my mind up and his touch and finish was great."
Moncur, who was released by Arsenal at 16, has been with Fulham for three years as part of the development squad run by former Bantam midfielder Billy McKinlay.
His initial month's loan is due to finish at the end of the week but he is pushing to extend his stay.
"I'd love to be here for at least another month. It's all about getting the experience needed and help Bradford as much as I can so I go back to Fulham a better player.
"I had a bad injury at the start of the season and then we've had three different managers so it's been difficult to get any consistency.
"But you learn so much being at a club like this, particularly with people like Paul Heckingbottom and David Wetherall alongside you. They gave me good encouragement on Saturday which made it a lot easier.
"I was a bit nervous when I heard all the fans shouting and singing but Skip' helped me settle down. He has such a presence about him and his experience just demands instant respect.
"It's a bit of an incentive for me to try to fill his massive boots because he is such a big player for the team."
