THE World Seniors Championship is currently taking place at the Crucible, and a couple of Bradford snooker players are going for glory.
Former World Snooker Champion Joe Johnson is involved, and has his first game at the last-16 stage where he will be taking on Jamaica's Rory McLeod, who won his opener 3-0 against Frank Sarsfield.
Laisterdyke potter Wayne Cooper has already got his campaign underway, and he downed American Ahmed Aly Elsayed 3-1 in his qualifying clash to make it into the last-16.
But Cooper faces a tough ask if he wants to go any further, with his next opponent the 1997 World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty.
