Leeds United have signed Bolton's Slovakian international central defender Lubo Michalik on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
Michalik, 24, impressed in his eight appearances while on loan to Leeds last season before being recalled early by his club. Dennis Wise was keen to sign him and new manager Gary McAllister sanctioned the deal today.
Michalik has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract.United have also signed Leicester defender Alan Sheehan, 21, until the end of the season. Irishman Sheehan has caps at Under 21 and Under 19 level.
