BRIGHOUSE snowboarder Katie Ormerod has rounded off a good World Cup year.
Her last two rides came in the Czech Republic and Switzerland in consecutive weeks in the Slopestyle discipline.
After qualifying for the finals at the two events, she finished eighth on both occasions.
In a neat symmetry, that meant she finished ninth in the overall Slopestyle standings for the season and ninth in Big Air.
Earlier this year, she made her Winter Olympics debut in Beijing, finishing 18th in Slopestyle and 25th in Big Air.
Taking to Instagram after the season concluded, Ormerod said: "Although I'm really happy with my riding this year, making multiple finals and finishing in the the top 10 of the world rankings, this comp season has been the most challenging and stressful of my life and I'm definitely ready to start healing now.
"Thanks always for your support."
