Silsden will be aiming to leapfrog Vodkat Division One rivals Maine Road ton Saturday and regain a top six place while maintaining their two games in hand on the Manchester club.

The Cobbydalers are currently seventh but have a top-four placing in their sights and spirits are high, especially after last Saturday's 3-1 victory over league leaders Newcastle Town.

"We are getting stronger and stronger," said Silsden boss Paul Schofield, "and we have Lee Reilly and Mark Bentham ready to come back in."

Reilly was attending a family wedding last Saturday while midfielder Bentham was ruled out by a one-match suspension.

"I will be telling the lads that we don't need to fear anyone at the moment because of the way we played against Newcastle and the form we have been in recently.

"The players are fired up, the games cannot come quickly enough and everyone is on their toes. However, all the lads know that they have to have to perform at the top of their game just to keep their place in the squad.

"For me it is a selection headache, but I would sooner put up with that than be struggling to put a balanced side out."

Silsden have lost just four games from 22 starts this season in the league.

Only two clubs in the division have done better so far, second-placed Salford City have lost three while Trafford have tasted defeat only once.
