Guiseley failed to reach the semi-finals of the West Riding County Cup but only just as they lost out to Blue Square North side Harrogate Town in a five-goal thriller.
Town raced into a 2-0 lead within 25 minutes and they added a third ten minutes into the second half.
Guiseley netted two in a five-minute spell but could not force a late equaliser.
A shot from Dean Walters went in off Lee Wood for an own goal, while Walters was credited with Guiseley's other goal after his shot was deemed to have crossed the line before being hooked out.
