Undercliffe B opened a two-point lead at the top of the Division One table as they beat Bradford 154 4-2 and Undercliffe A 3-2 in the Bradford Chess League.
Undercliffe A did their stablemates a favour by winning 3-2 against Polish, who now occupy third place.
Second-placed Ilkley A disposed of South Bradford A 4-1, while Shipley Predators improved their chances of beating the drop with a 3-3 draw against Bingley Bees.
Clayton maintained a two-point lead at the top of Division Two by beating fellow promotion hopefuls Ilkley B 4-1.
