It was a bad day at the coalface for Thackley, who conceded two goals shortly before the break.
The first came as Brodsworth were appealing for a penalty for handball by James Firth but their protests were cut short when Liam Wilkins netted the loose ball.
Then a Josh Wright cross held up in the stiff breeze, confusing Thackley keeper Danny Trueman, and Ryan Malee pounced to score.
Dean Mitchell and Danny Forrest both saw shots cleared off the line after the break and the hosts rubbed it in when Malee raced 40 yards before lashing a fierce shot past Trueman. Forrest and Kyle Shah had efforts hacked off the line before Malee grabbed his hat-trick with a wind-assisted lob.
