Liversedge 1, Selby 1

Liversedge returned from a fortnight's inactivity to extend their unbeaten run to seven games.

At times they looked like taking all three points from the visit of Selby Town but a draw was probably a fair outcome.

Sedge's James Coubrough shot over early on and Danny Cooper hit the next effort wide. The visitors came into the game and Bruno Holden went close but the home side finished the half with a flourish and Cooper again fired just wide.

The second half saw far more goalmouth action but several openings went begging before Sedge finally broke the deadlock. Skipper Daryll Leach headed home from a Brook Newton cross.

Striker Luke Sherman completed his comeback from injury when he came off the bench but his lack of sharpness told as he missed a chance to double Sedge's lead.

Selby hit back when Holden levelled by curling a fine shot into the top corner.
