Farsley Celtic have drafted in two new signings and both will be available for tomorrow's live televised visit of second-placed Stevenage Borough in the Blue Square Premier.

The Celts have snapped up Scott Gardner from Leeds United, initially on a month's loan but he could stay longer.

Meanwhile, former Sheffield United man Georges Santos has made a permanent switch to Throstle Nest.

"They will be involved tomorrow night but Matt Lawler Mark Hotte are both very doubtful after coming off injured at Kidderminster last weekend," said Celts boss John Deacey.

Gardner played for Leeds United in the League Cup against Maccelsfield earlier this season.

Santos has a wealth of experience in the full- time game, with Tranmere and West Brom are also among his former clubs.

Deacey added: "The match will definitely go ahead.

"Nothing will stop our club from staging the game and, to be fair, the pitch has improved massively since last Monday. Too much is riding on it so I'm sure we will play."
