The Bradford Union paid tribute to long-serving official Alan Barraclough at their annual dinner at Cedar Court Hotel.
Barraclough is retiring after over 40 years of service and president Ian Brogden said: "The effort and time that Alan and his wife Joan have put in over the period he's been with us has been absolutely brilliant.
"His organisation has helped to make the Bradford Union one of the best-run unions in Yorkshire. It is sad for us to see him go and we're really going to miss him."
Barraclough steps down as competition secretary - a role he has held since 1992 - and is replaced by Mike Winterburn.
Also at the dinner, Bradford Union captain Tim Wade was presented with the Inter-District Team Championship, which was won at Shipley.
"To win it for the first time in ten years and on home soil in front of our supporters was a wonderful experience," said Wade.
"It's hard enough for two players to play well at one time, so for all six to play superbly was awesome. We'll be doing our best to retain the trophy at Fixby this year."
