BRIGHOUSE snowboarder Katie Ormerod is warming up for next month's Winter Olympics in Beijing nicely.
She finished fourth in the snowboard slopestyle in Mammoth Mountain in California last weekend, having come fifth in her first Big Air World Cup event of the season in Colorado at the start of December.
The 24-year-old earned her best result of the season in California to move into the top ten in the World Cup standings, as her score of 72.32 saw her finish behind home winner Jamie Anderson.
Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand and Japan's Kokomo Murase rounded out the podium.
