Polish lead the Bradford Chess League Division One after a narrow 3-2 home win over Shipley Predators.
Ilkley A, also at home, beat South Bradford A by a similar margin to go third. Undercliffe A and B played each other but were unable to provide match results. Bingley Bees remain fifth after a 4-2 win against Bradford 154, but with only four points separating the bottom four, the run-in may yet hold surprises.
Clayton maintained their lead at the top of Division Two after beating Bradford Internationals 3-2. Dark Horses were the surprise of the night when they won 4-2 at Ilkley B. Keighley travelled to Unisons' new headquarters at the Fountain Inn but came away 2-3 losers.
In Division Three, Renaissance continue to impress as the best of the Bradford Academy teams despite losing to Bingley.
