BRIGHOUSE snowboarder Katie Ormerod is building up to February's Winter Olympics nicely, having secured a solid fifth place finish in her first Big Air World Cup event of the season.
She achieved that at Steamboat Springs in Colorado and clearly enjoyed her trip out to America.
She posted on Instagram: "Absolutely delighted to start my comp season with a fifth place.
"It was such a fun contest and I'm feeling ecstatic that I landed all my runs in the finals after having the worst practice.
"So crazy that the next Big Air will be at the Olympics too."
The Games get underway in Beijing on February 4.
