It will be a very demanding week for the Farsley players - and possibly a defining one for the club as a whole with three games in six days, beginning tomorrow.

Two of those games are in the Blue Square Premier and six points could make Farsley strong favourites to avoid the drop. A rearranged FA Trophy replay tie also sees the Celts with one final fling in the spotlight of a national knockout competition this season.

They are away at Kidderminster this weekend and on the road again on Monday, when former Bradford City boss Nicky Law's current side Alfreton Town, from the Blue Square North - a division lower than Farsley - stand in the way of progress in the Trophy.

Thursday then sees the television crews heading back to Throstle Nest as Farsley host their second live game of the season. They previously gave viewers value-for-money entertainment from their Yorkshire derby with York before slipping to defeat.

This time they take on third-placed Stevenage. It will be a big ask to gain any points from that clash but Farsley boss John Deacey has strengthened his squad in the transfer window.

Midfielder Dominic Krief has returned to the club and defender Mark Hotte has been signed, with both players having had experience in the Conference and above. Bradford City's Craig Bentham and Matt Lawler of Blackpool have been drafted in on loan as well.
