Eccleshill United have been on a bad run but they hope to redress the balance at Armthorpe Welfare on Saturday and leapfrog the club immediately above them in the Northern Counties East Premier Division.

After two successive wash-outs, Eagles boss Mick Wat-son said: "I hope the break has given us a chance to regroup. We have had some very positive training sessions this week.

"Armthorpe Welfare are above us in the table but they have played four games more. It would be a morale boost if we went to their place and got the points.

"I think we are good enough to get back into the top six but we have to start picking up points."

The Eagles will be without midfielder Chris Rosindale and winger Ryan Wood through suspension and Gary Birchill due to an ankle injury.
