Eccleshill United will be heading for Lincoln Moorlands Railway tomorrow hoping their Northern Counties East League Cup third-round tie gets the go-ahead.
The Eagles have not played since last Wednesday when they suffered a heavy defeat at Hallam in the Premier Division.
There was a curtain drawn around the players and management team after that 6-0 drubbing, with a clear-the-air meeting between the staff.
Now they have aired their thoughts they are all desperate to put that watershed behind them. To do that they have to play, so they will not want the problems that neighbours Farsley Celtic and Guiseley faced tonight, with their matches called off due to waterlogged pitches.
