City's reserve clash with neighbours Huddersfield at Valley Parade this afternoon is off because of a waterlogged pitch.
The wash-out is a frustrating blow for boss Stuart McCall, who had planned to take a look at three trialists.
They are Nottingham Forest striker David Brown, Birmingham midfielder David Howland and Wolves centre half Martin Riley.
