CITY have announced a new long-term catering deal as they step up the revamp around Valley Parade.
Bradford-based company Tiffin Stadium Catering have agreed a five-year contract with the Bantams, which will see every food kiosk inside the stadium fully refurbished in time for the start of next season.
Tiffin will also provide a range of fast-food options on a matchday – including the Bantam burger, Bantam cheeseburger, Bantam chicken burger and Bantam hotdog.
It is good news for fans as they anticipate a return to the ground for the first time since before the pandemic.
The announcement follows feedback from supporters in an attempt to improve the quality of the products on offer at home games – the standard of food previously had come in for plenty of criticism.
City’s commercial director Davide Longo said: “We are delighted to firstly have the Tiffin team on board and cannot wait to continue building this relationship over the next five years and beyond.
“It has been no secret that catering inside the Utilita Energy Stadium - particularly on a matchday - was an area which needed to drastically improve. We hope and believe our friends at Tiffin can deliver this.
“One of the biggest and most important jobs I was set when arriving at the club was to deliver a better catering operation for our supporters to enjoy, and I am excited to see what can be achieved.
“Tiffin Stadium Catering born from Tiffin Sandwiches, another like-minded Bradford business which, over the past two decades and beyond, has grown exponentially into the UK's largest independent pre-packed sandwich supplier.
“Work is already underway on kiosks in the JCT600 Family Stand, and we are all looking forward to seeing what the end product will look like, and tasting some of the delicious-looking products on offer!
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tiffin for their hard work, passion and ambition to significantly enhance our catering operation, and hope this can be the start of a long and successful partnership.”
Douglas Stewart, project manager of Tiffin, said: “Tiffin Stadium Catering is a proud Bradford company employing proud Bradford people, and we believe it is in all our hands to try to make Bradford prosper again.
“The success of Bradford City AFC is vital to the future of the city.
“So when the possibility arose to allow us to take responsibility in partnership with the club for the stadium kiosk catering, we looked at it as an exciting prospect and now relish the opportunity. “We are investing substantially in the kiosks to provide a brand-new experience for the City supporters.
“Our main focus will be on speed of service with the target to serve everybody who wants to use the kiosks in the relatively short period allowed, without having to miss half of the game.
“We are confident in our ability to deliver our objectives and intend to use feedback and ideas from fans in a positive way in order to continually improve.
“Our end goal is to deliver the best stadium kiosk catering of any football ground in the country.”
