Guiseley have slipped out of the UniBond Premier Division play-off places but new management team Steve Kittrick and Wayne Benn feel they on the verge of their first win since taking charge.

Tomorrow could be the day as they head for basement outfit Frickley Athletic but Benn is warning the players against complacency.

"Frickley are scrapping for every point and they are not a bad side. I live close to their ground and have seen them play many times," said former Avenue skipper Benn, who has stepped into coaching for the first time this season.

"We have to refocus after Saturday's home draw with Prescot Cables. That was another frustrating day. If the chances we created had fallen to our leading scorer James Hanson, we could have been four or five goals up.

"It was disappointing that we didn't test the outfield player who went in goal for them once their keeper got sent off.

"I think the frustration mounted up the more the game went on.

"A bit of desperation set in after that and our players should be better than that. If they keep their heads the results will come. As soon as it happens there will be massive relief and that will help the confidence."
