A victory over nearest neighbours Halifax Town on Boxing Day provided a much-needed boost for everyone at Throstle Nest and Farsley will be looking to build on that on Saturday.

Crawley Town are the visitors in what will be the second of three home games for Farsley over the busy turn of the year. They face the reverse Blue Square Premier fixture against Halifax at The Shay on New Year's Day and then host Histon on the first weekend of 2008.

Celts boss John Deacey said: "Our position is a lot more healthy after the Halifax result. We are five points clear of the relegation zone and two of our next three games are at home, so we have to make the most of that.

"But we might have to make changes after players came off against Halifax, a win that came at a cost. I had to use all three substitutes because of injuries, so we will have to see how people are in the morning.

"Ryan Serrant hurt his knee, Roy Stamer has ankle ligament damage and James Knowles had a recurrence of his hamstring problem. Roy is the biggest worry, while James has had his injury for a while but is able to last an hour into games.

"The best thing is that no-one will want to lose their place in the side after Saturday's good win. We have played well in December but not had the results we deserved.

"The victory over Halifax was a some kind of reward but we want to keep it going and get more points back."
