Eccleshill, who have not played since beating Thackley at Plumpton Park on the first day of the month, journey to Selby Town hoping to gain on their rivals.
"We have a couple out with Stuart Waite suspended and Mark Flanagan away in Dubai for Christmas," said Eagles boss Mick Watson.
"We won our last two but since we haven't played, Selby have won their last two, so it could go one of two ways.
"We are rested and maybe that will work in our favour. On the other hand they have the momentum.
"But the incentive is there for us. If we win we will be one point behind them with two games in hand.
"The initial ten minutes is going to be very important, if we get the right start we will be all right."
