Thackley are the only one of the three Bradford sides in the Northern Counties East Premier Division with home advantage on Saturday and it will be the first of two at Dennyfield.
Manager John Boyle said: "We have Lincoln Moorlands and then our nearest neighbours Eccleshill United on Boxing Day. We are looking forward to both.
"It is more than a fortnight since we played because of two postponements but we have had some great training sessions. The atmosphere is superb and the players have been bouncing about.
"It's like we have them on a leash and they are straining to be let off it at 3pm Saturday."
Boyle added that the enforced break had given Nicky Matthews and Paul Sharp time to get over recent injuries and they are available again.
