The Bradford contingent in the Northern Counties East Premier Division were all left frustrated by the continuing cold snap.
THACKLEY, after the debacle with their match referee leaving it until the last minute before accepting the pitch was waterlogged last weekend, were reliant on an inspection at an away ground yesterday but got the call in good time.
"Winterton Rangers were on the ball and got in touch with us early enough to prevent us travelling," said Thackley secretary Chris Frank.
"They know it's a long journey from Bradford to Scunthorpe and took that into account, so I'm afraid for the second Saturday on the trot the first team did not have a game."
The last time Thackley played was the derby at Eccleshill on the opening day of the month.
ECCLESHILL were due to host Pickering Town yesterday and desperately wanted the game on.
The Eagles had no fixture the previous weekend and then encountered a postponement in midweek when their trip to Glapwell was called off.
LIVERSEDGE should also have had a weekend home fixture, with Shirebrook Town their scheduled visitors.
Sedge were looking to earn the three points that would have kept them second in the table but their position is once again being undermined by the other clubs chasing promotion.
