Dennis Wise believes the Italian job is just the job for England.
Leeds United manager Wise is convinced Fabio Capello's burning desire for perfection can rub off on England's players.
Wise said: "The Italians are a different breed. Their whole life is football and they take it to an extreme.
"They live and breathe everything about the game and try to be perfectionists, which is very difficult to do.
"When we are eating bacon, sausages and beans for breakfast they are eating cereals, fruit and things like that.
"Gianfranco Zola, for instance, does Yoga and is blessed with a mentality and desire to do everything possible to improve his game. I don't think most English players are like that."
Wise added: "Everyone wanted Jose Mourinho as McClaren's successor but Fabio is hugely experienced. The top foreign coaches are so professional and thorough in everything they do."
