Dennis Wise is waiting to see if Mark de Vries or Leon Constantine are fit before naming his line-up for the visit to Walsall on Saturday.
The Leeds boss must find a replacement for Tresor Kandol, who is suspended after being shown his fifth yellow card in last week's 4-0 win over Huddersfield.
Wise was annoyed that Kandol picked up a booking for just petulantly throwing away the ball.
"I've had a word with him about the booking because he didn't need to do what he did," Wise said.
"I don't think people appreciate the amount of work Tres does. If you look at the build up to many of our goals, he is involved."
Tore Andre Flo, who has come off the bench to score in the last two games, could replace Kandol but Wise said: "He's been out for a long time and can still only give me about 40 minutes."
Meanwhile, Leeds match at Doncaster on February 16 has been moved to a noon kick-off on police advice.
