THERE is a growing feeling that Bulls have every chance of being chosen as the team to take that spare Super League spot for 2021.
And if they do, there are a couple of enticing dates for their calendar.
The season is due to start on March 11, three weeks before the Championship, which is not set to get underway until the Easter Weekend (April 2-5).
And as for the blue riband events in Super League, Magic Weekend is set to return to Newcastle's 52,000-capacity St James' Park for the Bank Holiday Weekend at the end of May.
It was held there for four seasons between 2015 and 2018, but moved to Liverpool's Anfield for 2019.
It was due to return to Newcastle in 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic put paid to any chance of that.
As for the Grand Final, it has been moved to Hull's KCOM Stadium for this season, and is taking place tomorrow night between Wigan and St Helens.
But it will be back at its spiritual home of Old Trafford for 2021, with that game due to played on October 9.
It has also been confirmed that the end of season play-offs, for the right to reach that showpiece, will be between the top six.
