Vodkat League side Silsden face another cross-border raid when they travel to the west coast on Saturday to take on top-half rivals Squire Gate, based near Blackpool Airport.

Cobbydalers boss Paul Schofield said: "They are so near the seaside their pitch gets a fair amount of breeze so, despite any rain, I expect it will be playable but the conditions on the day will affect the game one way or another.

"Also, they are a tall, physical side and they beat us twice last season so it will be a bit of test for us."

Silsden are in tenth spot but the team directly above them - Runcorn Linnets - have played five more games.

"We want to keep pushing towards the top six so these games against the clubs in and around us in the table are the ones we need to win."

Defender Michael Rhodes returns following his recovery from a broken toe but midfielder Harry Thompson is unavailable.
