Thackley need some home comfort as they take on Glasshoughton Welfare at Dennyfield on Saturday after suffering a derby defeat at Eccleshill United last weekend.
Their visitors - one of only three clubs below Thackley in the Northern Counties East Premier Division - are scrapping for every point just like John Boyle's men.
"It will be tough but at the moment every game is. It is just not happening for us," said head coach Boyle.
"I can't put my finger on it and the players are giving their best so answers on a postcard please!
"Seriously, I am very happy with the squad at the moment but the only thing missing is points."
Paul Sharp is doubtful after picking up a knee injury at Eccleshill, who have no game this weekend, but Danny Forrest is back in contention after a foot injury.
