CITY have made offers to Richard O’Donnell and Dylan Mottley-Henry for next season.
Stuart McCall today confirmed that they are looking to keep the pair, who are both currently out of contract.
Keeper O’Donnell is the only one of the 11 senior players whose deals were up at the end of last month that City want to retain.
Mottley-Henry’s short-term contract expired after April but McCall had suggested at the time of his release they would look to bring the winger back.
The Bantams boss is also understood to be closing in on his first couple of signings for the summer.
McCall said: “We’ve made an offer to Richard in the last 24 hours so that will be sorted one way or another fairly soon.
“We’ve also made an offer this week to Dylan but they aren’t the two that I’m looking to get tied up as well. We’ll hopefully get a couple done.”
Billy Clarke has also been strongly linked with a City return but it is understood that he is not one of those targets that McCall is hoping to finalise shortly.
