BRADFORD Union have decided to refund subscriptions from member clubs, and competition fees paid for events that won't take place.
The Union believe it is important to support clubs during these uncertain times and finds it difficult to see when golf courses will reopen.
President of the Union, Simon Tabel, said: "The Bradford Union has taken the decision to refund the subscriptions paid by member clubs this season.
"In addition, any competition fees paid will be refunded if events do not take place.
"We felt that it was more important that the Union was supporting clubs in this difficult time and, with our own expenses much reduced, it was an obvious decision.
"Most clubs have kept their green staff working as courses need to be maintained and there are still bills coming in.
"There seems little prospect of the current closure of golf courses being lifted, but the Union supports current Government action to limit the potential spread of covid 19."
