SPORT Relief runs throughout next week, and a star tag rugby team which contains several players from the Keighley District are getting involved.
You, the public, can too, at Marley Stadium this Saturday (March 7).
Velcrocity's tag squad are hosting a fundraising event, in the form of a 90-minute match using international tag rules.
It will be eight-a-side, with regular rotation of substitutes for maximum participation.
The two squads will be chosen at random, with names drawn from a hat.
It costs £5 if you want to play, while there is a minimum donation of £1 for those wanting to spectate.
The deadline for players to confirm their participation is this Thursday if they have not done so already.
All are welcome. The game kicks off at 2pm, with participants meeting in the stadium car park at around 1:30pm.
The event will provide some light relief from the intense competition that the Velcrocity players have faced over the past year or so.
The club were tournament tag champions in Coventry, Manchester and Yorkshire last season, with 11 of the squad representing Yorkshire in the UK Tag Nationals in September.
Seven of those made up the mixed open team, who made it all the way to the final in London.
Eight of the Velcrocity players were also selected for the Great Britain training squad.
The Keighley members within their ranks are Hafa Karim and Laura Elliot (Riddlesden) and Craig Churchyard (Wilsden).
The players will be at Saturday's event in Marley themselves, which they are hosting, playing in, and even refereeing.
Twenty-six people had signed up as of last Friday teatime, but there is no limit to how many can play, with the organisers' motto "the more the merrier".
To sign up, email Jo Churchyard on jochurchyard@gmail.com or message the Velcrocity Facebook page to let them know.
