Following an inspection and safety review at 10.30am, York City Knights tweeted: "The Ground Safety Officer and Match Commissioner have inspected the ground and the decision is that the game is OFF."

The postponement means it is likely that the rearranged fixture will take place at York's new community stadium, with Knights due to move into their new base shortly.
Storm Ciara has already forced the postponement of a number of rugby games, including West Bowling's scheduled trip to Workington in the Challenge Cup.
West Bowling's third round trip to League One Workington will have to be rearranged after the game in Cumbria was postponed.
