AFC Wimbledon manager Glyn Hodges has indicated he would be happy for Dylan Connolly to see out his season-long loan with the Bantams.
The 24-year-old winger has made 12 appearances for City since becoming the 15th and last signing of the summer transfer window.
He has caught the eye with a number of impressive displays, his pace in particular providing a dimension which was lacking last season.
The Dons are only just above the drop zone in League One but Hodges has revealed he is not intending to recall Connolly in January as things stand.
He told londonnewsonline.co.uk: “If he is playing then I don’t really want to bring him back.
“With the system we are playing at the moment, Dylan won’t find a spot and would be on the bench.”
Irishman Connolly only joined Wimbledon in January from Dundalk. He played 18 times for the Dons but only four of them were starts.
