THE teams involved in this weekend's Bradford FA Saturday Senior Cup ties will be bidding for semi-final places in this season’s competition.

Field, the cup holders, should make sure of a last four spot when they take the short trip across the city to take on Salts Reserves and on the adjacent pitch, Salts’ first team will meet Campion Reserves.

Meanwhile, Grangefield, who have already beaten Tyersal and Field Reserves, will meet Toller at Rhodesway Academy.

All of these games will kick off at 1:45pm

The final quarter final will not take place until after Idle face Thackley Under-19s in their postponed second round tie at Hanson School.

The winners of that will meet Wibsey in the New Year.

The next morning will see last season’s Sunday Senior Cup finalists Westwood Park and West Bowling in action.

Westwood Park take on AFC Wibsey in their quarter final, while West Bowling will have to be successful away to Olympic.

The other two ties will see Bradford Moor YSA host Shipley Town, and Peacock Bar with home advantage against Tyersal.
