BRADFORD (Park Avenue) Ladies' season starts this Sunday with an FA Cup qualifying first round game at Bridlington Rovers' Gypsey Road ground.
Last season at this stage, Rovers knocked out Rotherham United, who had beaten Avenue in the earlier preliminary round.
Thackley Firsts are making their debut in the competition. They make the short trip over to Farsley Celtic, who play in the North East Regional Premier Division.
The following week sees Thackley's campaign start in the West Riding County Premier Division.
Their first two games are at home, against Wetherby Athletic and Yorkshire Amateur, who finished third and second last term.
There's a slight change to the divisional line-up, which sees Farsley Junior First in the West Riding Premier Division as replacement for Tingley Athletic, who have withdrawn from the league.
Farsley Junior Reserves and Bradford-based Phoenix are among teams promoted to a new-look 12-team WRCWFL Division One.
There are five new teams, plus Farsley Juniors' new Development side, who will be playing in Division Two this season.
Meanwhile, Kate Mallin and a Lucy Sowerby hat-trick saw Huddersfield Town qualify for the FA Premier League Cup. The Terriers came back from being 3-1 down at half-time to Nottingham Forest to take the tie 4-3.
Brighouse Town also went through with two penalties converted in a 2-1 win at home to Premier Division side Loughborough Foxes.
But there was disappointment for Leeds United, who lost 3-0 to Burnley and join Bradford City in the League Plate.
