TURKISH international player Ecem Acikgoz made a try-scoring debut for the Bradford Bulls - as Castleford Tigers Women visited Odsal Stadium in a gripping top-of-the-table clash.
Acikgoz was brought into British Rugby League via Global Rugby League Academy and has spent the opening weeks of the season at Halifax Women's in League One.
Having starred for the Calderdale outfit, Ecem was drafted into the Bulls' ranks and continued her impressive form in 2019 on her debut in the red, amber and black.
"Ecem earned her Super League debut having trained hard with the club over the past few months and enjoyed an outstanding debut," said joint head-coach Beth Sutcliffe.
"Scoring a second-half try we also voted her our man-of-the-match so it was a really impressive outing by Ecem.
"Ecem will be returning to Turkey in July to finish her studies but we harbour hopes she will return to the club in the near future."
