GOLCAR have silverware glory once again after sealing their second successive Premier Division title in the West Riding County Amateur Football League.
The newly crowned champions visited a stubborn Ryburn United side, who kept Golcar on their toes and ensured the final step to glory wouldn't be plain sailing.
In the end though, the visitors came through to win 3-2 meaning the crown was theirs with one game still left to play.
The division's leading goalscorer, Buddy Cox, took his tally two away from half a century for the season with a strike for Golcar, which was added to by a brace from Alex Hallam.
Ryburn's goals came courtesy of Brad Waddington and Owen Wilkinson, with the side ending their season in a respectable third-place.
Littletown, who have been hot on the heels of Golcar over the past few weeks, can count themselves unlucky at just missing out on the title.
They have lost only one game all season and put in a five star performance at home to mid-table Route One Rovers.
The tie was a warm-up for this Saturday's League Cup final between the sides, and Littletown will hope it follows the same pattern.
Mat Addy, Mathew Schofield, Tristan Innes, Michael Halsessellasie and Dhameer Skinner scored a goal each to secure a 5-0 victory for the hosts.
The win extends Littletown's impressive run of victories to nine, but Golcar have always been one step ahead with their winning run double that of Littletown's and games have now run out.
Littletown sit four points adrift with only one left to play.
Coincidentally, the final league game will see champions Golcar and Littletown battle it out for nothing more than bragging rights now.
The League Cup Final will be played at Liversedge's ground and kicks off at 3pm.
There is no charge for admittance, but a souvenir programme will be available with all donations going to the Bradford Burns Unit in memory of ex-league President, Robert Wedgeworth who was one of the 56 victims of the Valley Parade fire.
