Eccleshill show off their runners-up medals
ECCLESHILL United under-12s defied the odds to reach the final of the Bradford City Memorial tournament at Marley over Easter.
Despite playing with a man down for the entirety of the group stages, in which they were drawn with the likes of Lincoln City Academy and Hamm from Germany.
They drew with Lincoln and progressed to the last four where they beat Bradford City to reach the final.
They lost to Hamm in the showpiece but took the plaudits for a superb team performance.
