Bradford (Park Avenue) U19s lost 5-1 at the Horsfall Stadium in the Northern Alliance League against Scarborough Athletic - a result which saw Scarborough crowned champions.
The BPA goalkeeper Sam Smith and Harry Holmes were the best players on the night with Bradley Oliver scoring their solitary goal with a cross-come-shot.
Scarborough took a 3-0 half-time lead courtesy of a hat-trick from Flynn McNaughton. Chris Pearson and Robbie Scarborough scored their goals in the second period.
Avenue manager Dave Haley said: "Our young players showed great character and commitment to keep going right until the end against the eventual champions."
Avenue have one more match to play, at home to Shelley on a date to be confirmed.
Campion U21s blew their chances of being crowned the West Riding County FA Development League champions when they lost their last match, 2-1 away at Liversedge U23s. Campion went into the game knowing that nothing more than a win would secure the title.
Thackley U21s suffered a 2-0 defeat against Albion Villa.
