WEST Bowling and Field held their nerve on penalties to reach Bradford FA district cup finals.
Bowling reached the Sunday Senior Cup showpiece after edging past Bradford Sunday Alliance rivals Wrose Bull at Eccleshill United’s ground.
After a goalless first half the game sprang into life, ending 4-4 before West won the shootout 5-4. They now await the winners of Tuesday's semi-final between Westwood Park and Tyersal, also at Eccleshill United (7.30pm).
Field booked their place in the Saturday Senior Cup after overcoming fellow West Yorkshire League side Salts. The sides were locked at 2-2 before Field went through 3-1 on penalties.
They now face the winner of the all-Yorkshire Amateur League clash between Athletico and Calverley United at Thackley on Monday (7.30pm).
Meanwhile, Golcar United bid to take a step closer to the West Riding County Amateur League title when they visit P FC at Bradford University today. They need just four points to secure the crown.
TVR United, who have chased Golcar for much of the season, paid the penalty for failing to turn up for their last two games at Littletown and Route One Rovers as the league awarded the points to their opponents.
Rovers, who will be playing in two semi-finals - against Ryburn United in the League Cup and Poole FC in the Wharfedale FA Cup - in early April, visit Toller FC today in the first of their five final league games.
Littletown, who are also involved in two semi-finals, start their run in to the end of the season with a home game against basement side Lepton Highlanders, while Lower Hopton will entertain Steeton Reserves.
