BRIGHOUSE TOWN U21s made it two in two after a victory away at Hemsworth Miners Welfare U21s.
The 5-2 defeat of their hosts continued their unbeaten run in the West Riding County FA Development League Premier Division and was the only fixture in the league, with others involved in the cup earlier in the week.
A brace from Finn Donovan, alongside a goal each for Ewan Gardiner, Will Parkin and division top-scorer Regan Metcalf, paid dividends for Brighouse.
The win follows up a victory the side got against Ilkley Town in their previous fixture.
In this mid table clash Brighouse hit three without reply from their visitors.
The away side started off the match as the better team but the game soon settled down with both playing some good football. Goal chances were limited as both defences were on top of their game, but Brighouse took the lead just before half time with a well worked goal.
The hosts then increased their lead in the 52nd minute as they began to dominate proceedings.
Just before the full time whistle blew, they scored a third to seal maximum points.
It was leading scorer Regan Metcalf who got the lion's share of the spoils, with a brace, supplemented by a Brandon Thompson goal.
Assistant Manager, Barry Thomas, said: "Overall, there were two very good teams playing good football with the difference being that our very strong defence were outstanding."
In the U23 Development League Campion U21's quest for the title continued with a valuable point from a 0-0 draw at fellow challengers Ossett United U23.
The hosts sat in third - just below the visitors - before proceedings and presented a tough task for Campion.
A draw leaves both sides in the same position, with Campion five points adrift of leaders Harrogate Town U23s, but the Bradford side do have three vital games in hand.
In the basement division, Salts U21s did their chances of promotion and title glory a big favour in a 2-0 away win at second-placed Tadcaster Albion U21s who had to play three games in less than seven days.
This loss - their second match in that three game run - left Salts only a point adrift of Tadcaster, until the second-placed side bagged a victory against Shelf Juniors U21s in the final game of their congested fixture list.
