MANNINGHAM AllStars Under-12s comfortably overcame promotion rivals Bingley Bayern away from home at Myrtle Park after winning a double header.
Two fixtures were played as it was agreed with the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League to play the previous postponed clash as well.
Manningham won the first match 4-1 and enjoyed a comfortable 8-0 victory in the second.
The double put them in pole position to clinch automatic promotion or even win the Division C title as they currently have a couple of games in hand. They also have two games to play against leaders Guiseley.
In the first game at Bingley Bayern, Manningham goal-scorers were Dominic Jacob Brownridge, Mohammed Ahsan and Isa Younis (2). Younis also had one assist while three goals were set up by Subhan Mahroof.
Man of the match was awarded to Keval Abdullah who put in a solid shift.
In the second game, Abdullah bagged a hat-trick as did Hasan Ghaffar Khan. Basil Khan and Juraj Tancos also found the target.
Assists came from Basil Khan (2), Tancos (2), Essia Hussain and Hasan Ghaffar Khan (3). The man of the match was awarded to Saif Ur-Rehman, who had a great impact on his debut.
