WEATHER permitting there should be a full West Riding County Amateur League programme played this weekend.
Thornton Recreation Centre-based TVR United will be looking for all three points against visitors Route One Rovers on their 3G surface.
Not only will they be keen to keep up the pressure on leaders Golcar United, TVR will also have further incentive to beat their opponents as it was Esholt-based Route One who beat them in the Premier Division Cup 4-2 on penalties after the game ended 0-0.
Over the years, games between leaders Golcar United and Ovenden West Riding would be difficult to predict.
However, with Golcar setting the pace this season and Ovenden struggling to find a settled side, a home victory seems likely.
Third-placed Lower Hopton will also expect victory at their Mirfield home against strugglers Toller FC.
P FC, who have lost 11 of their 15 league games, host basement side Lepton Highlanders, who have only one win and a draw to show in their points column after 16 games.
Fourth-placed Littletown, who have games in hand on sides above them, visit league newcomers Ryburn United. Steeton Reserves will want to put behind them their defeat in the Keighley FA Cup last weekend when Bradford Olympic are their visitors.
