A FULL programme of Premier Division fixtures this weekend sees a top of the table clash, with leaders Golcar United hosting second-placed Bradford side TVR United.
Huddersfield-based Golcar, who lost their West Riding County FA Challenge Cup game last weekend to Huddersfield Amateur, will be hoping to have their 24-year-old striker Buddy Cox available.
Cox missed last weekend’s game through injury, but if he is fit enough to play at the weekend, he could add to his extraordinary personal tally of 28 goals in his side's 13 league games.
TVR struggled in Division One last season, but they are flying at the moment, with deadly duo Faisal Shabir and Asif Iqbal notching 23 goals between them.
The match up could go a long way towards deciding the destination of the title. TVR are seven points behind Golcar, but have three games in hand over the leaders.
Third-placed Lower Hopton, who have two points fewer than TVR, will be hoping to keep up their challenge for the top spot with all three points from their trip to lowly Ovenden West Riding.
Route One Rovers host Littletown at their Esholt ground, while newcomers Ryburn United, who lost three of their first five league games, will be seeking to extend their unbeaten run to six when they visit PFC on Bradford University’s 4G pitch.
The other two games see Steeton Reserves welcome Toller FC and rock-bottom Lepton Highlanders travel to face Bradford Olympic.
