KAI Bruenker has left Bradford City by mutual consent to return to Germany.
Bruenker, who signed in the last January transfer window, played 31 games with 11 starts. He scored just once against Oldham in the Checkatrade Trophy in October.
The 24-year-old striker said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the supporters, who have been fantastic towards me.
“The City supporters are the best I have ever seen and they deserve three points every week.
“The way the fans held me in their hearts has been very special. I will never forget my time with the Bantams.
“David Hopkin is a fantastic manager and person - and I wish him great success at the club.
“There are some great players at the club and I hope to see them move up the table and get as many points as they can.
“I am sad to leave the club but have a great opportunity in front of me in Germany to get more game time and progress my career.”
