WITH Premier Division leaders Golcar United playing in the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup, the four sides beneath them all picked up three points to narrow Golcar’s advantage.
Second-placed TVR United, who have played three games fewer than the leaders, beat Steeton Reserves 6-3 in a thrilling contest away from home.
Mohammed Ismeel scored twice for the visitors, to add to others from Abid Khan, Faisal Shabir, Asif Iqbal and Danny Hussain. Greg Hudson netted two and Will Knight was also on target for the home side.
Littletown showed their hosts Ovenden West Riding how to score when they piled on the goals in the second period to run out 10-1 winners.
Paddy Sykes netted five, Joe Jagger three, with Callum Wheatley and Adam Jordan bagging one goal each, while Nat Sloane grabbed a hollow consolation goal for the Halifax side.
Lower Hopton and their opponents Route One Rovers were goalless at half time, then the goals started to fly in.
Liam Royal, Declan James, Bobby Evans, Josh Cooper and Jacob Doughty scoring for the Mirfield side as they beat their visitors 5-2, with Jordan Dimuka and Shazad Iqbal replying for Rovers.
Ryburn United visited basement side Lepton Highlanders and with goals from George Turner, Reece Utley and Brad Tynan, they emerged as 3-2 winners. Max Mallinson netted both of Lepton's goals in the first half.
PFC were the other winning side in the division. They picked up three points with a 4-0 home success over Bradford Olympic.
