AFTER a two week break over the Christmas and New Year period, the West Riding County Amateur Football League will be back in action this weekend.
Route One Rovers, whose only defeat in the league was at home to leaders Golcar United, face a tricky assignment as they look to extend their good form. They travel to third placed Lower Hopton, who have already won seven times this season.
Second placed TVR United have only lost one of their last nine league games, and they will be seeking to do the double over their hosts PFC, who they beat 5-3 in a thrilling encounter early last month.
Littletown and league new boys Ryburn United face away games against the bottom two sides. Ryburn visit Lepton Highlanders, while Littletown are at Ovenden West Riding.
Finally, Premier Division leaders Golcar will fly the flag for the league in the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup. They have a home game against West Yorkshire League Premier Division side Huddersfield Amateur.
Victory for Golcar will ensure them a quarter final spot in the competition.
