They have a chance to make it a perfect 10, but will need to defeat title rivals Warrington Town at Throstle Nest to do so.
Brighouse Town are also second, in the Evo-Stik East, but they did not have a good start to 2019, after they were thumped 4-0 at Ossett United on New Year's Day.
They will hope that was just a blip, as they look to bounce back with a win at sixth-placed Belper Town.
